FACIAL

Now, this one here I've got to say is probably one of the oddest books he's written.
A face on the floor that eats things.
Pretty good story and I had a really good time with this one. Like all of his other books it is filled with the humor he is known for. The biggest thing I really like about his stories is that you never know what he's going to come up with next. I can assure you, it will be pretty original. He has an easy conversational type style that gives you that 'daddy telling you a story on the front porch' feel to them.

So head on over to Amazon or  DarkFuse and buy this book.

Read it tonight.
Read it because I said so.
Read it because it's morbidly fun.
Read it because Jeff Strand wrote it and you want to see what kind of story he can write about a face in the floor.

STOP.

What are you doing?

You're still reading this? Apparently you don't know how to follow instructions.

WHAT DID I JUST TELL YOU?

ARE YOU NOT LISTENING TO ME?

Okay........ Let's try this again..... Shall we?

Stop what you are doing right now.

JUST STOP IT I SAY!!!!!

Did you just call me a wacko for writing a review like this.

What kind of nutcase writes a review like this?

I say, one that knows where you live and will come to your house and rip out your intestines and shove them down your throat if you don't read this book.

Just kidding.  Don't take me serious.

Yes. Do take this serious. This is serious business.

Just to make sure you don't make any mistakes and order the wrong book, here is what it looks like.
So go get. Enjoy. I promise, you will have a blast.

HOME INVASION

So my wife tells me one day that she wants me to write a story that she would like. One where the main character is a female that doesn't take any crap from nobody. One where she comes out on top after conquering some very bad people. I figured she was having a very bad day at work and needed some cheering up. So I introduced her to Joan. I needed a tough name for a woman. Joan is tough, strong minded, a warrior (Joan of Arc.) and  not to mention she has special abilities capable of getting her out of certain jams. One of my favorite movies is TAKEN with Liam Nelson. After talking to some bad guys on the phone to try and locate his daughter who'd been taken by some thugs in a foreign country for a sex ring Liam tells the thug on the phone "I have a special set of skills and I will find you and I will kill you." I love that line, always have. In fact I'd probably  put it right up there with Clint Eastwood, "Go ahead. Make my day." My wife read this book and loved it so I didn't make too many changes to it. Joan and my wife are best friends now and all of us live happily together. She loves her and I'm sure you will too.

How far will a woman go to save her home?

MUTATOR

Here's one for you folks to give a spin. Hold on tight as you take a trip with Gary Fry as he sends you into a galactic spin in this cosmic tale of terror. I found this story to be a lot of fun as I traveled with his character, James and could feel his uncertainity at his discovery. His smooth literary writing style fits well with the story as he weaves a wonderful unusual creature.

No. I'm not going to tell you about it because to me that was one of the surprises. You'll have to read it for yourself.  But there is a very subtle hint in the beginning.

As we are shown the horrific acts the creature is capable of there is a little switch-a-roo in the second half of the tale which I thought was excellent. I actually began to feel sorry for the creature. Seems there is something different at stake here as we travel with James along with his studies.

Very nice. Very nice in deed.

This is not a chomp chomp chomp, guts flying everywhere, eating innocent folks, swallowing' em whole type of tale. I found this to be a light, kind-hearted tale which was very nice.

Of course all good horror tales have a good ending and this one sure did. The ending made me laugh and I thought 'you sneaky dirty dog you.' This story makes for excellent reading late at night with the lights dimmed and the only sound is the soft rythmitic ticking of the clock.

Shhhhh....

Something is coming.

Best be careful.

But don't you worry. You're gonna be okay. Really you will. Cause you're gonna love it.

AWESOME TALE

Here's one for you folks to try out. You like B type horror movies?
You like fast paced loaded with lots of gory action?
This is the story for you. Dive into this baby and tell me what you think. I guarantee you have never read anything like this...... EVER.... This book had me from the very beginning. The author has a very unique style which I think you will greatly appreciate. He writes like Quentin T. on steroids.

While you're at it I suggest you check out the tales on the STRANGE EDGE where you can get your daily dose of the weird and bizarre. Their fun, quick and easy to read.  http://garthurbrown.blogspot.com/

Hey you. I know a secret.
You do? you ask.
I do. Yes I do. Wanna know what it is?...... You do?
Oh I don't know. I'm not sure you've got the stomach for it.
But I do, you say. I do. Please tell me what it is. I'm gonna pull my intestines out of my stomach and wrap them around your neck and choke you till your freakin' eyeballs pop out if you don't.
You like creepy ghostly tales by the sea?
Of course I do, you say. Who doesn't?
What if I told you your gonna read about a poor fella named Kevin Temple being afraid of the shadow that lives in his closet?
Oh, that sounds awesome, you say. Please tell me more. Tell me more.
Okay, but get ready for the crazy hillbilly tale called JAWS OF LIFE. Now that was awesome. Are you scared yet?
Yes, stop. You're creeping me out.
But you asked for it. See, I knew you couldn't handle it. You big sissy.
If that's not enough for you how about a strange creepy fowl story?
Ooooooo........ is it like the birds you ask?
Not quite.  Worse. Tons worse.
Then there's a story by Gary MacMahon. You know who he is don't you?
Yes, you say. He give me eebie jeebies.
If that gives you the eebie jeebies then you better hang on for a wild creature feature by Chrisotpher Fulbright.
Oh, I've heard of him, you say. he's pretty good.
Pretty good? Dude, this tale rocks. He's sick and twisted like you and me. It's awesome.
Then I'm definitely in. Tell me. How do I get this ever so awesome collection?
Oh, I'm so glad you asked. It's called Darkfuse Anthology #1 and they're already taking pre-orders now. It's a delightfully disturbing collection. You can check it out here. Just go ahead and click that link below. I dare you.
